Chapter Executive Director, Jo Burkett,
teaches the Red Cross F.A.C.T. (First Aid for Children Today) program to
Project SUCCEED afterschool students at David Brewer Elementary School in Leavenworth on
January 9.
Leavenworth City and County employees rolled up their sleeves to donate blood for the Red
Cross blood drive, which they sponsored, on Friday, March 2, 2001.
Approximately 15 young boys and girls
took part in the Red Cross babysitting course taught at the Leavenworth office from
January 9-11, 2001. The course teaches the
knowledge and skills associated with leadership, safety and safe play, basic care, first
aid, and professionalism.
President of the CGSC Class of 2001, LTC Greg Gross, was one of dozens of CGSC students
who participated in the Red Cross blood drive for CGSC students at Fort Leavenworth on
Tuesday, March 20, 2001. Hooah, CGSC
